Thank you for downloading my music, a donation to UNHCR would be appreciated.

 

It is difficult to imagine a life where your home is a tent in a refugee camp and your family are growing up with little hope of a better or different life. You have done nothing to create this situation but have to endure a world of  relentless despair  because of others. The safety of your family had been your initial objective but now the reality of your achievement is yet another nightmare.

Where do you go from here ?

I wrote this song thinking about Syria but this dilemma is faced by 100million displaced people every day(1%of the worlds population)Many  people in the midst of war have not yet even reached the sanctuary of a tented camp.. What’ must it be like for a child waiting for a bomb to fall and hoping it lands somewhere else.? What are the consequences of us ignoring this situation ?

What realistically can be done now ?

It is unlikely that in the near term that we will be able to put an end to these wars but we can help organisations like UNHCR  help people innocently caught up  in or victims of war or conflict. It is a massive task which they have and one which deserves our help.

Please please help the UNHCR to continue there great work for Migrants and Refugees  by donating to their charity
